We are going into our 4th school year with Zeptive Vape Detectors. They have worked great. The cloud-based dashboard has all the features you would want/expect. Installation was very simple. A huge selling point was the fact the Zeptive detectors are wireless. Most importantly for a small school district, Zeptive support has been very responsive and helpful.

When I first became principal of our high school, student vaping was a significant problem. Like many schools, we knew it was happening, particularly in areas that were difficult to consistently supervise, but catching students in the act and effectively addressing the problem was challenging.

We installed Zeptive Vape Detectors as one part of our effort to reduce vaping in our school, and the results have been tremendous. The detectors gave our administrative team the ability to respond quickly when vaping was detected and, just as importantly, helped create a deterrent. We are a small charter school so spending any money is done with many factors to consider. We chose Zeptive and could not be happier with our choice. They have gone far beyond the normal customer service with extreme promptness and willingness to exceed our expectations. We will certainly purchase from them again and would highly recommend.

We have these installed at our school, and they’ve been great.

The vape detectors do not work in our building. As the building administrator, I chase a lot of false positives. I know they are false positives becuase when I get the notification and check the bathroom, many times the lights are off indicating that no one has been in there for at least 20 minutes.

We have an old building with poor ventilation and air flow, which adds to the challenge. Overall, I would say, do not purchase and install. Spend your money on programs that help students with education and cessation.

We installed the Zeptive Vape Detectors in our school over the summer of 2024. When students returned in the fall, the detectors got a full work out. We have seen a significant drop in vaping over the 24-25 school year. Zeptive support also worked with us to tweak settings in one of our vo-tech areas where welding takes place to lower the false-positives. Great product and highly recommended.
